JotForm is a completely web based form builder. It is developed for webmasters with minimum design experience. JotForm has an intuitive drag&drop and instant edit form editor. You can create web forms, collect submissions and payments from your web site visitors.
Creating a form is very easy with JotForm. Form builder is located at the homepage of jotform.com web site. You can start with the default questions, or click on "New" button to create a new form following the steps on the Wizard.
Next, Simply drag and drop fields from the Toolbox on the right side to add new questions. To change the text on the question, click on the question and edit. Once you are ready to share your form, click on "Source" button and copy and paste the HTML code for your form into your web site.
That's all. You are now ready to collect form submissions from your visitors.
Getting to Know Form Editor
JotForm supports all standard web form field types. In addition, it allows you to use new and intuitive fields in your form such as Date Time Picker, Star Ratings, or CAPTCHA checks. Using JotForm, you can create any kind of web form.

Sharing Your Forms
JotForm makes it very easy to integrate your form into your existing web site. You have several options to integrate a form into your site. Go to Form Editor and click on button.
Option 1: Embed Form into Your Site
This is the ideal option for embedding your form into your site.
Using an IFrame, it will hotlink your form into your site. The user will be able to
submit form without leaving your page. And if you make changes on your on your
questions, you will not need to update your the source code in your site.
Option 2: Copy Full Source Code of your Form
If you would like to make design change on your form, you can get the full source code for your form and use it on your site. However, every time you make changes your form, you must get a new source code and update your site with it.
Option 3: Download the Source
Invite Users by E-mail
You can also share your forms by E-mail. This option is especially useful if you do not have a web site. You can create a form and ask your users to complete them. Simply click on button and choose "Invite Users by E-mail" option.
Receiving Form Submissions and Reports
There are various ways you can see the submissions made by users.
You can receive them by email, or open them as reports on various formats.
You can receive submissions made by users. Here is the steps to enable email reporting:
1. Go to "My Forms" and select the form to receive emails for. Click button to edit form.
2. Click on button to open the Form Properties box on the right side.
3. On "Properties" box change "Send e-mail" option to "yes".
4. Put your email address into the "E-mail" question below it.
5. Click on button to save your changes.
Now, when someone submits this form, you should receive an email. If you do not receive it, first make sure that emails for this form is enabled as described above. Another possible reason for not receiving emails might be your spam filter. Check your spam folder for the submission email. If it is there, make sure to set it as "No Spam" so that this would not be flagged as spam in the future.
You may also get all submissions in a single list. JotForm can create reports in a web grid, Excel, CSV or any other delimited format you prefer. To create reports follow instructions below:
1. Go to "My Forms" section and select the form to create reports for.
Then click button.
2. Check the database fields you would like to see on the reports.
3. Select an output format for the report:

Opens report in a CSV file.

Opens report in a text file. Each column would be delimited with the character chosen.
Setting Up RSS and Excel Feeds
It is now possible to create feeds for your forms. If you have an RSS reader that you might be using to watch blogs and news, you may also use it to receive JotForm submissions. In a similar fashion, you can create an Excel bookmark on your browser or windows computer that can open the latest form submissions by just a simple click.
To create an RSS feed, first log into your JotForm account. On "My Forms" screen, select the form you would like to receive the RSS feed for, and click on button. On the next page, under "Share Results by Listings" topic, select RSS option. Give your feed a name and choose the fields you would like to receive, then publish it. Now, you will be given a URL for your RSS feed, you can copy and paste this link into your News Reader to subscribe.
Excel: You can now bookmark an Excel file that would show your latest form submissions. On "My Forms" screen, select the form you would like to receive the Excel feed for, and click on button. On the next page, under "Share Results by Listings" topic, select Excel option. Give your feed a name and choose the fields you would like to receive, then publish it. Now, you will be given a URL for your Excel feed, you can copy and paste this link into favorites in your browser to link to your submissions.
Sharing Form Submissions
JotForm v2 now allows you to share form submissions on your site or as feeds. This is an optional feature. By default all form submissions are private. However, if you would present entries on your site, it is now possible to make them public.
First, log into your JotForm account. On "My Forms" screen, select the form you would like to share, and click on button. On the next page, under "Share Results by Listings" topic, you will see options: Grid
Share form submissions in your site as a table. It is as easy as copying and pasting an IFrame code into your page, and your visitors will be able to see the data in an HTML grid. You may also bookmark the URL of the grid and check it from your browser. You can sort and resize columns.
You can add an RSS feed into your site and allow your web site visitors to subscribe to it. Simply copy and paste the link code into your site or blog.
If your submissions have dates, you can list them inside a DHTML calendar. Copy and paste the code into your site to feature the calendar on your site.
Excel feed allows you to share a link with your colleagues to the latest submission data. They can simply click on the link on your site or email to open all submissions inside Microsoft Excel.
Collecting Payments with Your Forms
JotForm now makes selling services, subscriptions, downloads or tangible goods very easily. Just get an account from one of the supported payment gateways and complete a step by step wizard to integrate payments with your form. How it works
It is very simple. Your users will submit a form and will be redirected to the payment gateway. If you have multiple products, the total amount will be calculated and the user will be asked to pay for it. Once they complete the payment, you will receive an email, and you will be able to see it on the Payment Reports and Logs.
